Minutemen on the U.S.A.-Mexican border
Minutemen on the U.S.A.-Mexican border
Here is an article from a Mexican "appeaser" who just does not get it! Does he not understand there is a right way and a wrong way to enter this country? He calls the patriotic MMP a group a "racists." This guy needs a dose of reality. His article made me furious because he just doesn't get it. What a fool!

Forced conversions to Islam
Well here is more proof of "forced Muslim conversions." Interestingly enough, most Muslims "deny" such practices exist, but the truth states otherwise. To make matters worse, this type of practice is growing all over the world. Islam spreads it's unholy religion through fear and intimidation. Sounds like a real "peace-loving religion," huh? NOT!

"the attempts to force Christians to convert to Islam in Egypt are on the increase and the methods are getting increasingly varied and well organized. Some of these forced conversions are carried out by Muslim individuals, with the help of their friends, while others are being conducted by well funded groups."

The Mubarak regime has done nothing.

"I have received so many letters about what's happening to the Christian girls who go to supermarket stores to shop. At the store they tell them that they have won and have to go upstairs to receive their award or prize. After that we don't know what's happening to these girls upstairs. There is a lot of talking going on about this matter, and I see that what's happening will create a religious clash in the country. I'm urging the police to take a serious action against what's happening."

Actions against Christians not only in Egypt, but all over the Middle East, are usually ascribed these days to anti-U.S. sentiment in the wake of the invasion of Iraq -- when they're reported at all. But such incidents are far older than the U.S. presence in Iraq; they have been going on for decades, even centuries.

This is just one manifestation of the discrimination and harassment that Christians and other non-Muslims still face all over the Islamic world.

One notorious example was the case of Robert Hussein Qambar Ali, a Kuwaiti who converted from Islam to Christianity in the 1990s. He was arrested and tried for apostasy, even though the Kuwaiti Constitution guarantees the freedom of religion and says nothing about the traditional Islamic prohibition on conversion to another faith.

As Islamic radicalism increases, Muslims grow increasingly less tolerant toward their non-Muslim neighbors.

Border family's strange encounters with illegal crossers
Here is a great story of a family who lives only 2 miles from the Mexican border. It details encounters they've had with migrants. It's a very interesting read.

Caving In to Jihad: National Review, CAIR, and My Book
This is a good article I saw earlier today about an author who's book was taken down from National Review's website because of a terrorist organization, CAIR. He wrote a book called "The Sword of the Prophet. I've read the book and I highly recommend it. It's a great read!

Monitoring the Message
Here is a totally biased report of the MMP from the "Tucson Weekly" by Tim Vanderpool. He must be a huge fan of the New York Times I suspect. This article is just chock full of biased terms and derogatory slang aimed at making the MMP look like right-wing fanatics.

Here is just a sample of the "terms they use,"

vigilante soiree, project's right-wing vetting standards, "This is a circus," Predicting a camouflaged army of 1,000-plus volunteers, the Minuteman Project so far has drawn only a measly 150, weekend warriors, vigilante stragglers, Chris Simcox, a disgruntled former school teacher from California, The project's primary goal, however, is simply getting attention. At this, they have succeeded grandly; President Bush has denounced them, and Mexico's President Vicente Fox labels the Minutemen "immigrant hunters," vigilante army, mouthpiece for his own militia group, Civil Homeland Defense, and finally (my favorite): "Hey," she finally says, "you should be out there photographing all that illegal alien trash."

That final statement, "you should be out there photographing all that illegal alien trash," is about "literal garbage" the volunteers have been finding along the route these migrants take while crossing into our country. The idiot reporter who wrote this silly piece makes it out to sound as though the reference is toward the migrants themselves. What a con-artist. I say we "outsource" the reporter who wrote this biased piece.

Migrants defy Minutemen?
Well the MSM is actually admitting that the MMP has curtailed migrants from crossing the border. That's great news! Maybe Congress will finally decide to put the National Guard at the border? Don't count on it, just yet anyway. But here's proof the MMP is working:

The number of Mexican migrants trying to sneak into the United States through the Arizona border has dropped by half since hundreds of American civilians began guarding the area earlier this week, say Mexican officials assigned to protect their citizens.

But that doesn't mean the migrants have given up. Most remain determined to enter the United States and say they will simply find other places to cross.

Mexican officials assigned to "protect their citizens?" What is that about? Protect them from who? I'm supposing they are referring to the Border Patrol, and now the MMP. Well they shouldn't have anything to fear if they came to this country "legally!"

As far as these migrants coming in through other routes, will they can try. However if this volunteer project goes well, and thus far it has, what's to say more citizens won't decide to from their own border patrol groups at various locations at the border?

Bertha de la Rosa of Grupo Beta, a Mexican government-sponsored group that discourages people from crossing illegally and aids those stranded in the desert.

Grupo Beta discourages migrants from crossing the border? That's not what I've heard about that group. In fact, I believe it's the exact opposite!

I find it quite amusing that the Mexican government has "beefed up" security at their end of the border. Do they think the MMP volunteers are going to defect to Mexico?

Grupo Beta, along with armed state police officers, began patrolling the Mexican side of the border on Sunday.

Oh, and how dare us decide to protect our borders! As though "we" are the law-breakers, migrants are being duped into believing we are the "aggressors."

"It's not only border patrol, but also armed civilians," Salazar said. "Don't give them the pleasure of detaining you."

"I'm going to risk it and try somewhere else," said Mercado, 40, who has five children and earns $60 a week. "I have no other option. I want to be able to pay for my children's education so they don't have to go through all this."

And another thing, what is a 40 year old man doing with 5 children when he can barely support himself? Do they not practice birth control down in Mexico? Are there no condoms to use when that urge comes up in the hot Mexican weather?

Oh yeah, he wants to "educate" his 5 children. Yeah at who's expense, ours? It sure isn't going to be at his expense. Hell most American families have a difficult time educating their own children who are born here and didn't come here illegally!

ACLU watching MMP
Instead of the ACLU looking out for illegal immigrants who pose a threat to this country, they are wasting their time and resources making sure law abiding citizens don't break any laws.

The ACLU has proven once again they are not looking out the the American people. They are looking out for themselves and the people who fund them. Like all the liberal loonies who still think Gore won the election back in 2000.

Minuteman Project Volunteers Face Probe
Well it looks as though a bit of "controversy" broke out in camp today.

Three volunteers patrolling the border for illegal immigrants were being investigated after a man told authorities he was held against his will and forced to pose for a picture holding a T-shirt with a mocking slogan.

Border Patrol agents called in deputies from the Cochise County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday afternoon to report that an immigrant was detained by three men who identified themselves as project volunteers.

Carol Capas, a sheriff's office spokeswoman, said the 26-year-old Mexican man told agents he was physically restrained and forced to hold a shirt while his picture was taken and he was videotaped.

It appears as though at the end of the day, no one was hurt, the illegal was turned over to the Border Patrol and the MMP volunteer has not been charged with any wrongdoing. Some sources have even stated that the entire episode by the MMP volunteer could have been a stunt.

This particular volunteer it seems is running for a congressional seat back in his home state of California. So he got his 15 minutes of fame, so to speak. I'm not to sure that's the kind he wanted, but oh well.

I'm back (for now)
Looks as though I'll be blogging on this site (for tonight). I don't know what's going on with my other blog The Green Menace. All I know is I'm unable to post or pretty much do anything over on that site, blogspot.com. So I guess I'll post some stuff here for tonight anyway.
